I’m still learning, and today was a textbook example, I am doing a little work freelance, and there are opportunities around if you look closely, I can usually tell if they have been at it doing some notes and that on the mini K so I tend to add on something in case, cause I find notes are something of a main street jam. Everyone gets involved, that’s what some of you don’t realise, some are drawn in, not everybody but those who have got to for various reasons, I think there is an element of choice but if it’s a song idea we’re going to make it eventually, cause the people all get behind you, it’s like they can point to a random person now and say ‘that’s the next producer/creative force in the offing’ and that is why I try to say perhaps, I try to occupy a space that like Jackson Pollock makes us think critically to really subvert those conventions, that are all done now. He saw things, and poetic concepts making us think more about the world we all are in, and then they gifted their work to the public, and it’s good but not celebrated by generation X so we’ll definitely gloss over the movement, seeing has changed creatively, and there are a lot of big galleries all of which have something to say, but most are mired in a commercial mindset, we’re all as guilty of, when it comes down to it.

By consuming less we are gaining more, intellectually, and there is a parallel with Conceptual Studies, the saying runs ‘less is more’ all architecture students know it as a modernism mantra, it’s as old as the hills, and it’s origins are uncertain, then it was altered during the 1980’s I think the rise of Las Vegas, put a stop to the uber modern style, which had a very big Teutonic influence. So let that guide your decisions if you decide to follow the leader into the zany world of IT. Some designers go crazy now on the detail, but in the view of the cognoscenti it was just bad taste, same product new facade, a point not lost on many critics of the New York Skyline. From a certain vantage point that is how the post consumer society could be deconstructed.
