So here I want to highlight some of what we want to hammer out on the websites I am still a one man band. I have a few new tricks to perform, a quick update that should suffice to begin with. We’re entering a brand new era in terms of media information technology, I have a little digital camera, with usb port, I thought initially could only be useful for snapping and tried unsuccessfully to study the new science with the camera, to no avail. Then upon closer examination I see it had an application, useful in making films, especially a video diary which is my aim, it is in good condition, aside from the fact it needed aaa batteries too complicated by half. When moving it takes up a lot of power, unlike the leica. But then I realised it could be plugged in, and somehow made to interface with the laptop or Ibook in some way shape or form. Perhaps providing a link up like a little super 8. I have ideas that could be suitable for a web based investigation of the new art form. Unfortunately this is not widely known and copies exist. I have no idea what the other blogs are for, it’s hard to tell. Just how many hits I can get on the movies is debatable, the blogs being more obtainable and widely followed.
There’s still a use for the camera that I hadn’t discovered. Who knows it may get interesting, im a kind of ultra low budget cinematic vision. It’s odd really as what you don’t know rather than what you do marks you out as an ignoramus or a technophobe. You can’t be a computer geek by making movies and networking showing how coo and creative the web has become. It’s a very fragile mindset your average whizz kid barely knows how to reach an audience and keep updating or put up a video diary that people may one day watch and say ‘that is a new direction in the making a future Bill Gates or Apple Mac’ but the experiments are conducted in the future, the thing about it is it has yet to be done at least by us that makes it so powerful in terms of media today. There has to be a person to at least relate to in computing and geeks are non entities in computing really.
