Perfect Start.

So as I reported I’m not sure exactly what the pen was doing during the long run up to having a blog, perhaps it needs a specific ability plus all the other stuff, but you know? I expected more, I guess you’ve noticed if you look through the log books there’s a lot of gaps, but also some errors, and you wonder also as a beginner if any of these are a little precarious, as right now the medium is quite new and also fairly unexplored. That any of those could be costly, because ultimately we’d meant to say something else, but at the time you just go with the flow. I don’t mind going back over the ground to check from time to time, interesting facts and figures I’d barely noticed at the time. Way back when, but having embarked on the course of action it leads you somewhere, both in your thinking and active quests. You may as well take it seriously after all, which is quite galling we’d just penned a few things and not realised at that stage how much there could be to that episode, the very first is just an apertif that leads to the main course. The fuller picture is far more complex, on the one hand we encourage people to take part, but often they don’t really have a clue what to say, and the further it goes the more obscure the insight, as the first is still around, and reached a level of wisdom that others did not. Therefore you need to be aware of them and not reiterate past ideas and notions, so from that point you’ll have to say there’s more than one viewpoint on those incidents, that multiple interpretations are possible and perhaps necessary. Now you see if we repeat that thought process time and again you see a distorted view of the mental topography, a phenomena we call deja vu.

In fact I believe this has to do with an error in recording information, from various sources that gets regurgitated to an extent it’s already been noted, and yet it’s possibly the only significant event in the cognitive matrix so far, so you’ll get a second draft from the the same tap. We are looking for other experiences besides the first ones, that lead us out of that labyrinth, or even ‘ducdame circle’ as Jaques has it in ‘As you like It’. We’re just not that good at telling apart a new from an older experience, a new sensation from an old memory. That’s the logic behind Perseus’ navigational technique in the real Labyrinth, (it’s extremely labyrinthine, so prolix that the only way he can keep track of his steps is to drop pebbles at intervals thus.) These flares also help him to retrace his steps, increasing his chance of making a safe getaway considerably. I can’t think of a better way to master the craft of narrative writing than by appropriating his technique and instead using a symbolic marker, or ! that could act as a tracker for the report. In other words the multiplicity of the topographic data is quite broad, so how do we distinguish our work from say another writer?
