People in drawings, so far so odd, a real bittersweet combo if ever there was one, in architectural drawing people are reduced to marionettes with with to showcase the brilliance of the project of the humble confines that surround them, and are seen strolling through huge and ostentacious urban design projects. Brand spanking new developments, oddly they often look completely out of place but I often wonder who are these explorers of the new neon? What do they bring to our relationship with the built environment, besides tourism? It’s a blessing in disguise to get them, presumably someone’s family, and they’ve really worked hard on the portfolio, seems a shame now to dismiss them as window dressing. The work I do is exactly the same as all the others so you end up with the same drawing, same people repeated endlessly like in Escher.
Nice workers.
